Blossom Festival
Apr 4th to 7th, 2019

DAY 1: An early morning departure travelling to Breezewood, PA for our 1 night at the Holiday Inn Express. After check in you will have a nice welcome reception & then time to have dinner on own at Bob Evans.
DAY 2: Up bright and early for a deluxe Continental breakfast at our hotel before you depart to Washington, DC. This morning you pick up your local guide & take the Tram through Arlington National Cemetery. It is an impressive sight, with seemingly endless rows of simple white headstones. Imposing stones and monuments mark the graves of many individuals and groups. We then head to the Reagan Building for lunch included with a voucher. After lunch we will have a narrated tour of Washington, DC. You will see all the famous sights surrounding the National Mall including the White House, U.S. Capitol, Washington Monument and Union Station. Afterwards we then drive the short distance to check-in at the Hyatt Place Sterling/Dulles Airport Hotel for a two night stay. The rest of the evening is free for dinner on own & to enjoy the Hotels amenities with indoor pool
DAY 3: After a deluxe hot breakfast at hotel this morning bright & early you then travel to the Washington Whitehouse Visitor Centre for a little souvenir shopping & picture taking. You then pick up the Local Guide again for a narrated tour of more interesting sights of Washington, DC that you missed the day before. You will end up in Alexandria to take a Cherry Blossom River Cruise at 12:30pm with a spectacular view of the flowering trees reflecting off the water – with views of the Jefferson and Washington memorials in the backdrop. The views will be unforgettable, so don't forget your camera! The Cruise will end up this afternoon in Georgetown and you will head to the museums of the Smithsonian around 1:30pm at the American History building were you will have a included voucher for lunch in the cafeteria. Then You can decide which interests you the most and make sure to visit the Air & Space, the American Indian, Natural History & more for the rest of the afternoon until closing at 5:30pm. You then will have included at Harriet's for your Farwell dinner. Then back to the hotel again to enjoy the hotel & surrounding area.
DAY 4: After breakfast at the hotel included we start our journey home making some stops along the way to arrive back in the Windsor area in the evening with a stop at the duty free.

Day #1 - We will depart early morning from Windsor with stops along the way. Our 1 night is at the Holiday Inn Express, Downtown, Albany, NY. Tonight dinner is included and the evening is free to enjoy the hotel & surrounding area.
Day #2 - We will include an Expanded Continental Breakfast - with Hot Choices at the hotel. Then we are off to the Essex Steam Train Excursion - Ride the rails aboard a true Steam train with vintage rail cars. Depart from the historic Essex Station and travel through the beautiful countryside to the riverside along the Connecticut River Valley.We will end up at the Foxwoods Casino, Ledyard, CT - Try your luck this evening at the country’s largest casino complex or browse the new Tanger Outlets. With a five hour stay each member of the group receives a $15.00 voucher to any of the many restaurants or a complimentary buffet dinner and a $10.00 Keno ticket. With a minimum of 40 passengers, group leader receives the same as the group plus a $50.00 vouchers to be used anywhere in the casino complex other than gambling. With a minimum of 30 passengers - $25.00 gift certificate. (Package may change without notice). Tonight a Buffet Dinner Included - At Casino. We will then check in at the Quality Inn, Mystic, CT and the rest of the evening will be free time.
Day #3 – This morning we include an Expanded Continental Breakfast - with Hot Choices at the hotel. We will board the bus and head to Boston for a guided Boston City Tour - Discover this Capitol city including the USS Constitution (the oldest warship afloat in the US Navy), Beacon Hill, the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, Bunker Hill, Boston Public Garden, State House, Rose Kennedy Greenway, historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. We then include a Boston Harbor Cruise - A relaxing narrated cruise on historic Boston Harbor. See the bustling inner harbor. Learn about the past, present and future of the historic waterfront area including Charles Navy Yard, Boston‘s fishing industry, Tea Party site and more. After the Cruise we will Board The Downeaster - Ride Amtrak’s coastal train from Massachusetts to New Hampshire. Sit back, relax enjoy the view! Here we Include Dinner. Then we will check in at the Comfort Inn & Suites, Dover, NH for the next 2 nights and this evening is free.
Day #4 – Again this morning we include an Expanded Continental Breakfast - with Hot Choices at the hotel. After breakfast we will enjoy the Lighthouse Lover’s Cruise - Maine's rugged, rocky coast and picturesque lighthouses - what a combo! The scene unfolds as you cruise from Portland's scenic harbor seeing the Calendar Islands, coastal forts, Maine lobster boats, playful seals and an array of seabirds. View as many as seven lighthouses including an up-close experience at Maine’s oldest and historic lighthouse, Portland Headlight, proudly perched on one of Maine's famous rocky outcrops overlooking this beautiful harbor. We then have time for lunch on own in the historic district of Old Port, Portland.
We then head over to the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum - Take a trip back in time as you enjoy magnificent views of Portland’s waterfront aboard the unique railroad that linked rural Maine to the rest of the world. Tonight we include a Maine Lobsterbake Dinner with Entertainment - Enjoy the freshest of New England seafood with a traditional lobsterbake coupled with a dose of down east entertainment.
Day #5 - Again this morning we include an Expanded Continental Breakfast - with Hot Choices at the hotel. After breakfast we will enjoy the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad and ride the train to your cruise. View this impressive lake from the shore as you travel over the historic tracks of the Boston & Maine Railroad. We then board the M/S Mount Washington Cruise and Lunch - A wonderful cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, its name originating from an Indian term meaning Beautiful Water in a High Place. Relax and enjoy this 72 square mile lake, the largest in New Hampshire. Fabulous views of the three mountain ranges surrounding the lake and 365 islands. Enjoy a delicious hot and cold lunch buffet as you cruise. We will end up at the Bennington Village – here we have time for Dinner on own and browsing the shops in this charming New England village. Then we will check in at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown, Albany, NY
Day #6 - We will include an Expanded Continental Breakfast - with Hot Choices at the hotel then head for home. We will have stops along the way including Duty Free. We will arrive back in Windsor early evening with memories to last a life time.
